Job Description
A facility located in St. Louis, MO has a fantastic opportunity for a Hospice Nurse! This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse that wants to provide quality one on one care.
Pay: $64, 000 - $75, 000 /Annually (Depending on Experience)
Hospice Nurse Opportunity:
- Full-time or Part-time
- Monday Friday
- On-call required (1-2x per month)
Hospice Nurse Responsibilities:
- Participates in development of the Plan of Care on all patients in conjunction with interdisciplinary team.
- Regularly re-evaluates the patient s physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs and notifies the appropriate member of the Interdisciplinary Team of change
- The hospice nurse manages the patient s pain and controls uncomfortable symptoms with physician prescribed medication and non-medication options
- Maintain a caseload of 10-15 patients with an average of 4 visits per workday
Hospice Nurse Qualifications:
- Current MO RN License
- Two years of hospice experience preferred but willing to train!
