Medical Technologist
Job Description
A beautiful critical access facility located about an hour from Rock Springs, Wyoming is looking for experienced, dedicated Medical Technologists/Medical Laboratory Technicians to join their growing team! Compensation:
- Pay: $38 - $45/hour (Medical Technologist)
- $20, 000 Sign-on bonus for 2-year commitment!
- $5, 000 Relocation Reimbursement available
- Full-time, direct-hire, permanent opportunity
- Day shift (7am-6pm)
- Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off;Rotating weekends and holidays;Secondary trauma call
- Typical schedule is 7on/7off but facility is open to flexibility with schedule
- Lab is open 24/7
- There is a call requirement during working days. 6pm-7am
- $2.00 additional on call rate
- 1.5x hourly rate for call back
- Responsible for processing specimens, performing tests and reporting results
- Follow the laboratory s procedures for specimen handling and processing
- Adhere to the laboratory s quality control policies
- Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or result reporting
- Provide age-specific care to patients as described in policies and procedures
- ASCP/AMT certification or equivalent required for Medical Technologist within 6 months of hire
- Associate degree required for Medical Laboratory Technician
- Bachelor s Degree required for Medical Technologist
- BLS certification required
- Generalist experience preferred
