Job Description
Job Summary:
In collaboration with an amazing health-care team near Des Moines, IA, the Respiratory Therapist provides quality respiratory care utilizing therapeutic modalities to achieve the patient s plan-of-care.
Respiratory Therapist Pay Range:
- $30.24-35.08/hr
Respiratory Therapist Qualifications:
- Graduate from an approved respiratory care program
- Current/active license as a respiratory therapist in the State of Iowa
- Two years experience as a Respiratory Therapist preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities:
- Respiratory Therapist initiates, conducts, modifies, and monitors the effects of respiratory care treatment plans including therapeutic, diagnostic, monitoring and rehabilitation based on healthcare provider-approved protocols and provider orders.
- Schedules and conducts Pulmonary Function Testing as ordered by a healthcare provider.
