The Senior Accountant is responsible for the preparation of financial statements, including quarterly and annual reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP and be able to analyze and interpret financial data to provide timely and accurate analysis.

Job Description
The Senior Accountant is responsible for the preparation of financial statements, including quarterly and annual reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP and be able to analyze and interpret financial data to provide timely and accurate analysis.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare and review quarterly journal entries, reconciliations, and other financial statements.
- Perform full cycle reconciliations.
- Review and analyze monthly bank statements.
- Prepare monthly reconciliations and other financial statements.
- Prepare monthly payroll tax returns.
- Prepare bank account reconciliations.
- Assist with preparation of annual budgets.
- Assist with preparation of monthly tax returns, including 1099 s, payroll tax returns, and state tax returns.
- Assist with preparation of reserve accounts.
- Assist with preparation of balance sheet accounts, including reconciliations to general ledger accounts.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance required;Master s degree preferred. Additional education in finance or accounting preferred
- 3-5 years experience in accounting or finance required;5-7 years experience required;7+ years experience preferred. Additional education in accounting or finance preferred required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required;ability to work in a team environment required;ability to work under pressure required;ability to handle multiple priorities required;ability to handle change with flexibility and adaptability required;ability to communicate effectively with others required.
