Job Description
Great Ultrasound Technologists opportunity located near Fayetteville, NC. Seeking full-time direct hire. Competitive pay and details listed below.
Competitive Pay: $34 - $54.40/ hourly

Ultrasound Technologist Opportunity:
- Assesses the patient, and reviews the orders/ chart as appropriate confirming the reason for exam. Ensures pertinent patient symptoms and clinical history are documented and a signed consent form is present if needed.
- Prepares the patient for the procedure, answers any patient s questions, and effectively communicates with the supervising radiologist for special instructions and/or questions regarding exam protocol.
- Ultrasound technologist are responsible for the prompt completion and accurate recording of exam begin and end times in the Radiology Information System (RIS) to ensure timely access to study by the radiologist.
- Provides a safe environment to include, but not limited to, infection control guidelines, universal precautions, and patient safety goals.
Ultrasound Technologist Qualifications:
- Graduate of an AMA approved Sonography program with current registration by ARRT (Sonography) or ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
- New graduates may apply that are registered or registry eligible. New graduates that are registry eligible must be registered by either ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) within 12 months of their hire date.
- Level II sonographer must hold ARDMS certification in two different areas.
- Level III sonographers must be certified in three areas, one of which must be either Vascular Technology or Echocardiology.
