We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join an amazing team in Northern Arkansas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, ensuring high-quality imaging, and providing exceptional patient care. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist
- Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and vascular studies.
- Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and calibrated appropriately.
- Obtain and review patient medical history and relevant clinical information to ensure accurate imaging.
- Explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort during examinations.
- Analyze images for quality and accuracy, making preliminary assessments and documenting findings in patient records.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss findings and assist in the development of patient care plans.
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and infection control procedures.
Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech Qualifications:
- Associate s degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- ARRT certification and certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) within 1 year of hire.
- Previous experience as an Ultrasound Technician preferred, but recent graduates may be considered.
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment and imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with patients and healthcare team members.
- CPR certification
