Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Job Description:
- The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) is responsible for the medical leadership and management of patient health and family medicine services and secondarily has oversight and accountability for medical protocol and regulatory compliance of the facility.
- Chief Medical Officer (CMO) assists Executive Directory and key staff in coordinating and directing patient care in the facility according to adopted policies/procedures, state and federal regulations, and accepted accreditation standards.
- Ensures that the quality of patient care is in accordance with the established policies and procedures.
- The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) also assists in budget and operational planning providing input into the decision-making process of the clinic
- 60% management, 40% clinical delivery of service
- Clinic is open M-F, 8-5. Urgent Care is open M-F, 8-5 and Saturday 8-4: 30
- Oversee and manage a team of physicians.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Qualifications:
- Medical Director must have current license to practice in California (or willing to obtain)
- Certification by an American Medical Specialty Board or licensed
- Current CPR and ACLS certification
- Two years supervisory experience preferred
