$10, 000 Bonus and Relocation Assistance for CST!
Pay: $31.90 - $47.59/hr
Hospital located on the NW Oregon Coast, northwest of Portland, is seeking a full-time Certified Surgical Technologist to join their exceptional surgical team. This picturesque location is known for its stunning natural beauty, offering residents breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, Columbia River, and nearby forests.
Certified Surgical Technologist:
- Accurately operates the sterilizers and performs other duties associated with processing instruments and trays.
- Works as a team member with various staff, medical staff, vendors, and others in the perioperative area which includes surgical cases, endoscopy, and OB.
- Flexible schedule working either four, 10-hr shifts or five, 8-hour shifts.
Qualifications of Certified Surgical Technologist (CST):
License/Certification:
- Must be Certified Surgical Technologist eligible and receive certification within six months of hire.
- Current BLS through AHA
Education/Experience:
- A graduate of a program in Operating Room/Surgical Technology, or equivalent.
- Must have thorough knowledge of, and the ability to apply that knowledge consistently in technical procedures and sterilization techniques requiring accuracy, precision, and aseptic technique in accordance with training.
- 1-2 years of experience preferred.
