The Clinical Laboratory Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely laboratory results while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a focus on quality improvement, and the ability to collaborate with clinical staff to support patient care initiatives.
Clinical Laboratory Manager
- Train, supervise and evaluate laboratory staff.
- Manage quality control procedures and update laboratory manuals and policies as needed.
- Responsible for preparing monthly statistics and quality assurance data.
- Develop and oversee the laboratory budget and staff schedules.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Perform chemical, biological, and microscopic tests.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality patient care.
Qualifications of Clinical Laboratory Manager
- Bachelor s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), or Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) required
- Minimum of 4 years of clinical laboratory experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
