Job Description


A wonderful Short Term Acute Care Hospital in Illinois, is seeking a well-rounded Counselor/LCSW to join their team!


Pay: $29.00 - $44.00/hour (contingent on experience)


Counselor/LCSW Opportunity:

  • Full-time, Direct Hire position
  • Schedule: Day | 8a - 5p
  • Setting: Short Term Acute Care
  • Department: Behavioral Health

Counselor/LCSW Responsibilities:

  • Provide general counseling and specialty group sessions as assigned by the Director
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Maintains confidentiality and ethical standards following departmental policies and procedures, while ensuring the privacy of all patient information
  • Assesses patient needs and develops personalized treatment plans, facilitating individual, family, couple, and group therapy sessions to foster positive therapeutic outcomes
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with community referral sources and colleagues to enhance patient care

Counselor/LCSW Qualifications:

  • Required | Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work
  • LCSW or LCPC licensure
  • Counselor/LCSW experience in Behavioral Health treatment setting preferred
  • Open to New Grads
