Job Description
Are you a highly skilled and experienced professional with a passion for women's health and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care? We encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to join our team as the Director of Women's Services near Round Rock, TX
Director of Women's Services Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Valid license to practice professional nursing by the state
- BSN required, MSN or masters in related field preferred
- Specialty certification in obstetrics preferred
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years acute care maternal/child experience, including two years of management or supervisory experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Current BCLS, NRP within 6 months, ACLS within 6 months, and AWOHNN Fetal Monitoring Course within 6 months
Director of Women's Services Responsibilities and Duties
- Coordinate activities related to labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and the baby nursery
- Responsible for the maternity unit and all sub-units
- Operate within a set budget and in accordance with organizational performance standards
- Lead and direct the work of others
- Conduct community outreach programs through education and women's health initiatives
- Plan and accomplish goals with a wide degree of creativity and latitude
