Health Information Management Manger (HIM)
A hospital located 1.5 hours south of Santa Cruz, CA, is hiring a HIM Manager. This full-time, permanent position offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a supportive team culture.
Salary: $101, 296-$133, 972.80
HIM Manager Opportunity Highlights:
- Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts
- Role: Oversee and ensure compliance for all medical records activities, including legal record management, release of information, and birth registry. Manage HIM staff across hospital and clinics, assist healthcare providers with electronic record access, supervise the Clinic Medical Record Supervisor, and act as HIPAA Privacy Officer.
HIM Manager Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Health Information or health related field - preferred
- Licensure: Certified by the American Health Information Management Association as either: RHIT Registered Health Information Technician OR RHIA Registered Health Information Administrator
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years HIM experience, and minimum of 1 year in Supervising a HIM Department
