Check Alaska off your bucket list with this unique position as a Hospital HR Generalist at a rural healthcare facility several hundred miles west of Anchorage.


This is an amazing opportunity for those who are willing to embrace the remote location and ruggedness of the area. ***This is an ONSITE, full-time permanent position (2-year commitment)


Pay range: $65, 000-$85, 000/annually DOE


Hospital HR Generalist

  • Conduct regular meetings with respective business units and line management to provide consultative HR guidance and policy interpretation
  • The Hospital HR Generalist position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units
  • Provide day-to-day employee relations and performance management guidance to line management to improve work relationships and increase productivity and retention
  • Hospital HR Generalist will manage and mediate moderately complex employee relations issues
  • Coordinate compensation terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers
  • Requires an extremely perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels

Qualifications of Hospital HR Generalist

  • Related BS/BA degree or equivalent training and experience
  • 2 or more years of direct experience in Human Resources, preferred
  • Healthcare related experience, preferred
  • HR Generalist must have experience utilizing HRIS and ATS/ talent management systems
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Valid Alaska Driver's License (or eligible to obtain)
