Travel Pathology Assistant
Job Description
A facility located west of Albany, NY is seeking a Travel Pathology Assistant to join their team for an 8-week contract!
Pay: $80.00 / hourly
Travel Pathology Assistant Opportunity:
- Full-time, 8-week contract
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7: 30AM - 4: 30PM
Travel Pathology Assistant Responsibilities:
- The travel pathology assistant you will perform tissue transfer and large specimen grossing with appropriate tissue sampling and gross description composition
- Perform specimen collection processing, including handling and labeling samples accurately
Travel Pathology Assistant Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree from an accredited college or university in one of the chemical, physical, or biological sciences, Master s Degree in Pathologist Assistant (PA) preferred
- Pathologist assistant certification under ASCP
- 2+ years of experience with large complex specimens
- 2+ years of experience as a pathology assistant
