Health Unit Coordinator Part-Time Opportunity with Benefits Package
A hospital located east of La Crosse, WI is seeking a part-time Health Unit Coordinator to join their Emergency Department team!
Health Unit Coordinator Pay & Benefits:
- Pay: Starting at $18.50/hour, increases with experience + Shift Differentials
- Part-time opportunity with benefits
Health Unit Coordinator Opportunity:
- Schedule: 48 hours per two-week pay period | 12-hour shifts
- Responsibilities: The Health Unit Coordinator provides organizational, clerical, and receptionist support under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Independent Practitioner. Assists with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, functioning as a key communicator and resource to staff, patients, and visitors. Plays an active role in supporting care planning and coordination within the Emergency Department.
Health Unit Coordinator Qualifications:
- CNA certification, EMT-P license (WI), or LPN license (WI)
- Emergency Room or EMS experience preferred
- Current CPR certification required;ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, and NALS desirable
