A state-of-the-art hospital in beautiful small town New York just a short drive from Syracuse is seeking a MRI Technologist in their radiology department. Join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals and make a difference in the heart of small-town New York as we provide exceptional care to our community.
Shift: Multiple openings weekends, nights, days, per diem
Pay: $42-$62/hr depending on years of experience
Capabilities of MRI Technologist:
Understanding of the anatomy and physiology necessary to perform x-ray testing, including body mechanics and patient movement
Knowledge of radiology equipment, including safety hazards common to radiology.
Capability to identify equipment issues and troubleshoot problems
Capacity to apply written instructions and standardized work practices and protocols
Ability to perform all job duties with no accommodations, including lift up to 50 pounds, repeatedly bend and twist, and standing for up to 4-6 hours daily
Friendly and outstanding customer service skills
Strong critical thinking skills
Basic computer skills, including the use of multiple Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Education of MRI Technologist:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Required License or Certification of MRI Technologist:
ARRT Certification in (R) Radiologic Technology. Certification in (MR) MRI Technology within one year of employment
Active New York State Licensure in Radiologic Technology
New York State IV contrast certification required within 30 days of employment
BLS CPR certification
