Job Description
A reputable hospital near Elkins, WV has a full-time, permanent opportunity seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician/ Medical Technologist to join their outstanding team environment! Great benefits package, sign on bonus, and possible relocation assistance offered.
Pays Up to $32.00 / hourly
The Medical Laboratory Technician/ Medical Technologist Opportunity:
- Full-time, direct hire position opening
- The full-time position is Monday-Friday (evenings preferred but willing to accommodate the right candidate!)
- Part-time opening as well!
- The position would include occasional weekends and occasional over-night on call
The Medical Laboratory Technician/ Medical Technologist Responsibilities:
- The medical laboratory technician/technologist will perform, and report tests of all complexity levels as defined by CLIA, on patients of ALL ages
- These tests will assist with the routine screening, diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases and injuries
- The medical laboratory technician/technologist will interpret and correlate test results with disease states and theoretical knowledge, and exhibit problem solving skills of a high complex nature
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control monitoring
- Will be required to perform phlebotomy and specimen duties
The Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- The medical laboratory technician/technologist must be certified through ASCP or equivalent
- Candidates who have a bachelor s degree and will be obtaining their certification within one year are encouraged to apply!

- About a 3-hour drive from Washington D.C.
