Job Description
A great small short-term acute care facility in Tahlequah, OK is hiring for a permanent, full-time Medical Transcriptionist. Starting pay is competitive and negotiable. Come join a team that is dedicated to providing quality care to a diverse population!

Medical Transcriptionist Position:
- Medical Transcriptionist is responsible for catching errors and editing text for optimum clarity. The document that is created becomes a written, legal, medical record of patient when it is complete.
- iNet software is used and dictation shows in the queue as the doctors dictate it and dock it. It is the responsibility of the medical transcriptionist to choose jobs in the queue to process and type.
- Day Shift, M-F
Medical Transcriptionist Qualifications:
- High Schoo Diploma
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Familiarity of personal computer operations and a basic knowledge of word processing preferred
- knowledge and understanding of medical terminology and diagnostic procedures preferred
