Job Description
A facility near Sault Ste. Marie, MI is seeking a Mental Health Therapists to join their dynamic, growing team
Pay: $$70, 000/year
Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis
Mental Health Therapist Opportunity:
- Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm
- Mental Health Therapist offers consultation and behavioral health promotion education to local schools, community members, Tribal Court, and other agencies as requested.
- Participate in community education, outreach and committees
- The Mental Health Therapist must provide crisis intervention services during and after work hours
- Acts as a behavioral health liaison between the Tribe, other agencies, and the local schools.
- Physical requirements: ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time;occasionally required to bend, squat, crawl;occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
Mental Health Therapist Qualifications:
- Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral Degree required
- Field of study Psychology or MSW- Social Work with a clinical background working with children, adolescents and their families required
- Michigan licensure as a Psychologist, Social Worker or Limited License required, or eligible to obtain within 6 months of hire
