Pharmacist
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in rual facility in Western Alaska. Come be apart of a great team and wonderful team culture!
Relocation Bonus: $15, 000
Pharmacist Required Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Provide medication counseling and education to patients
- Monitor patients'response to medication therapy and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Utilize utilization management techniques to optimize medication use and control costs
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in pharmacy quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to aseptic technique when preparing sterile products
Pharmacist Required Experience:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Current state pharmacist license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting, preferably in pain management or critical care
- Strong knowledge of acute pain management principles and practices
- Proficiency in utilizing pharmacy software systems for medication order entry and clinical documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
