Physician Assistant Job Summary:

The PA is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients, initiating or adjusting treatment plans with guidance from the supervising physician. The PA ensures high-quality care and complies with medical standards, regulations, and clinic policies.
Salary: $156, 000.00-$206, 315.00
Physician Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests.
- Provide patient education and counseling.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with medical knowledge.
Physician Assistant Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current California Physician Assistant License (PA).
- National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification;Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (if applicable).
Physician Assistant Experience:
- Preferred: Clinical experience in primary care or family practice.
Skills:
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
