Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Orthopedics Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments, including physical exams and medical history.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for orthopedic conditions.
- Prescribe medications, perform diagnostic tests, and interpret results.
- Assist in surgical procedures and provide pre- and post-operative care.
- Educate patients on treatment options, recovery plans, and injury prevention.
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers.
Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Orthopedics Qualifications:
- Education: Master s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program, with certification in Orthopedics preferred.
- Licensure: Active PA or NP license in the state of practice.
- Experience: Prior experience in orthopedics or related specialties preferred but not required.
Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $113, 000 - $139, 000 annually (based on experience, for 40 hours per week).
- Sign-On Bonus: $5, 000.
