Job Description
$10, 000 Sign-On Bonus for RN Circulator
Small community hospital near Minneapolis/St. Paul is seeking a full-time OR Circulating Nurse. If you are a skilled RN Circulator with a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence, we encourage you to apply. Salary Range: $48.36 - $64.50 per hour
Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Circulator
- Perform the preoperative assessment of the patient, nursing care plan formulation, operative care plan implementation, and postoperative evaluation of the patient s outcome.
- Assist in the setting up the procedure/operating room by gathering of equipment and supplies needed for each procedure.
- Assist in preparing each patient for surgery.
- Perform surgical counts and document nursing care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Assist in the clean-up of the operating room following surgery, including proper disposal of used supplies.
Qualifications of RN Circulator
- Unrestricted RN license
- 2-3 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or able to obtain before start)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
