Job Description
We are seeking compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join a dynamic Emergency Department (ED) team within an acute care hospital in New Hampshire. As an ED Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing prompt and effective care to patients in emergency situations. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.
Compensation Range: $32.00 - $51.68 per hour + stackable shift differentials (20% night shift & 15% weekend shift differential)
Responsibilities:
- Assess and triage patients in the emergency department, prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.
- Administer medication, perform diagnostic tests, and provide treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Day and night shifts are available. The schedule consists of 3x12 hour blocks, with shifts from 7AM to 7PM or 7PM to 7AM.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients'vital signs and respond swiftly to any changes or emergencies.
- Provide emotional support and patient education to patients and their families.
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately and thoroughly.
Qualifications:
- Valid compact or New Hampshire RN License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- 1+ year of ED experience preferred, but open to considering new graduates who are interested in growing within the department.
- Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
