Job Description


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Obstetrics (OB) and Labor & Delivery (L&D) department at well respected hospital in New Hampshire. As an RN in OB/L&D, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to expectant mothers and their infants. This is a full-time position with excellent compensation and benefits.

Compensation Range: $32.00 - $51.68 per hour + stackable shift differentials (20% night shift & 15% weekend shift differential.)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric and laboring patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being throughout the childbirth process.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and assist in the management of labor, including administering medications and providing pain management.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about prenatal care, childbirth, and postpartum care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.

Qualifications:

  • Valid compact or New Hampshire RN License.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • 1+ year of OB/L&D experience preferred, but open to considering new graduates who are interested in growing within the department.
  • Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Shifts: Day and night shifts are available. The schedule comprises 3x12 hour blocks, with shifts from 7AM to 7PM or 7PM to 7AM.
