We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room (OR) team at our well-respected hospital in New Hampshire. As an OR Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assisting surgeons and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during surgical procedures. Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room (OR) team at our well-respected hospital in New Hampshire. As an OR Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assisting surgeons and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during surgical procedures. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the surgical team to provide safe and effective patient care before, during, and after surgery.
- Assist in preparing the operating room by ensuring sterility and availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
- Monitor patients'vital signs and assist in the administration of anesthesia.
- Provide support to surgeons during procedures, including passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
- Advocate for patients'needs and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the surgical process.
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately and thoroughly.
Qualifications:
- Valid compact or New Hampshire RN License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- 1+ year of OR experience preferred, but open to considering new graduates who are interested in growing within the department.
- Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
