Job Description
A facility located near Batesville, AR has an exciting opportunity for a Vascular Sonographer opportunity to join their growing team!
Pay: Starts at $25.00 - $41.50 / Hour
$10, 000 Sign On Bonus for 3 year Commitment
Vascular Sonographer Opportunity:
- Full-time permanent position
- Schedule options: Monday to Friday varied shifts
- Weekend call and holiday rotation required
Vascular Sonographer Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing high quality diagnostic exams/procedures in the Ultrasound department in an efficient manner according to the physician s order.
- Sonographer works effectively with patients and physicians and maintains cooperative relationships with interdepartmental personnel.
- Maintains and implements current skills and knowledge, policy and procedure specific to radiology examinations and procedures.
- Organizes workload during high volume to expedite patient care and communicates to other technologist all pending exams and any pertinent information.
Vascular Sonographer Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of sonography
- Registered by ARDMS and/or CCI within 6 months of hire.
- Experience in performing echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, stress echo, venous/arterial ultrasound, ABI exams, and venous reflux exams.
- BLS Certification
Vascular Sonographer Location:
- Located along the shores of the White River, small community located in the north central section of the state about 90 miles from Little Rock.
- The downtown is stocked with law offices, antique stores, music shops and art galleries and has many buildings on the National Register of Historic Places
- Beautiful Victorian homes and restored historic buildings.
- Saturday farmers market at the park!
