Echo Technologist Description:
- $69, 000 to $96, 000 Yearly
- $15, 000 Sign On!
- Monday through Friday Day Shift
- Inpatient/Outpatient setting.
Echo Technologist Responsibilities:
- Assists physicians when performing special procedures.
- Consistently performs quality Doppler and color Doppler Exams
- Acquires quality Stress Echo and Dobutamine images according to physician and benchmark standards.
- Performs quality Trans esophageal echocardiograms according to physician expectations.
- Demonstrates understanding of cardiac disease processes in order to obtain complete acquisition of images for clinical diagnosis by reading cardiologist.
- Covers on-call schedule as assigned following departmental procedures.
- Adheres to CCMH and Campbell County Clinic policies and procedures.
- Must be free from governmental sanctions involving health care and/or financial practices.
- Complies with the hospital s Corporate Compliance Program including, but not limited to, the Code of Conduct, laws and regulations, and hospital policies and procedures.
Echo Technologist Qualifications:
- Graduate of accredited program of diagnostic medical sonography.
- Credentialing by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred at time of hire;however, registry must be complete within one year.
- One year of experience in ultrasound imaging preferred.
- Pediatric cardiovascular experience preferred.
