Job Description
A community hospital located south of Abilene, TX is seeking a full-time, permanent Physical Therapist to join their team! Open to New graduates training provided
Starting Pay: $41.00 / hour + $5, 000 Retention Bonus
*Experience factors into the pay scale
Physical Therapist Opportunity:
- Full-time, direct hire opportunity
- Day Shift Schedule: (5) 8-hour shifts or (4) 10-hour shifts
- Setting: Inpatient or Outpatient available
- Student Loan Assistance of $40, 000
Physical Therapist Responsibilities:
- The Physical Therapist will review the Physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
- Instructs, motivates, and assists patients to perform various physical activities and in the use of assistive and supportive devices such as crutches, canes, and prostheses
- Physical Therapist records treatment, response, and progress in the patient's chart or enters information into the computer
- Use advanced techniques and equipment to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services
Physical Therapist Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Must have an active TX PT License, or the ability to obtain
- Certified Lymphedema Therapist, Neurology, or Pelvic Health specialist is a plus
- Open to New Graduates - Training provided
