Job Description
A community facility located south of Kalispell, MT is seeking a full-time, permanent Physical Therapist Assistant to join their Rehabilitation team! Details are listed below.
Pay range: $24.00 - $35.00 / hour
Physical Therapist Assistant Opportunity:
- Full-time, direct hire opportunity
- Day Shift Schedule: (5) 8-hour shifts or (4) 10-hour shifts
- Setting: Mostly Outpatient
- Great therapy leadership and administration team
- Sleep rooms available for commuters
Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:
- Physical Therapist Assistant instructs and assists patients to perform various physical activities and in the use of assistive and supportive devices such as crutches, canes, and prostheses
- Observes and monitors patients during treatment sessions, compiling and evaluating progress data to report to the Physical Therapist
- Physical Therapist Assistant performs routine clerical tasks, including inventory management, supply ordering, answering phones, and completing required documentation
- Measures and records range of motion, strength, limb measurements, and vital signs to assess treatment effectiveness
Physical Therapist Assistant Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Must have an active PTA License
- 1+ years of experience preferred
