General Surgeon $500K Salary + $35K Sign-On | Near La Crosse, WI

A hospital near La Crosse, WI is seeking a General Surgeon to join their team.

General Surgeon Pay & Perks:
  • Salary: $500, 000
  • Sign-On: $35, 000
  • Relocation Assistance: $15, 000
  • CME: $5, 000 per year
General Surgeon Opportunity:
  • OR Schedule: Mondays (surgery) and Fridays (endoscopy), with additional block time available
  • Clinic Schedule: Tuesday - Thursday
  • Clinic Patients Per Day Average: 14
  • Call Required: 30 minutes
General Surgeon Responsibilities: 

  • Provide a broad range of general surgical care, including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency procedures
  • Perform 1 3 surgical cases weekly (average) and 4 5 endoscopies per week, with opportunities for more
  • Participate in ~15 20 primary emergency C-sections annually, plus assist with additional deliveries
  • Utilize advanced surgical resources, including da Vinci Xi robot with 24/7 availability
  • Participate in call rotation (shared among 3 4 surgeons, typically 1-week increments)
  • Collaborate with a dedicated NP/PA team, anesthesia group, and hospital staff to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes
General Surgeon Qualifications:
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery
  • Eligible for Wisconsin medical license
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
