Job Description
A facility located north of Missoula, MT, is seeking a dedicated Nurse Manager to join their Long-term Care Management staff! Details are listed below.
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 / hour
Nurse Manager, LTC Opportunity:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Day Shift Schedule: (4) 10-hour shifts or (5) 8-hour shifts
- Flexible Schedule options available
- Primary contact for patients and their families
Nurse Manager, LTC Responsibilities:
- Nurse Manager, LTC develops staff schedule, ensures adequate coverage to support in all areas of acute care nursing, and adjusts staffing levels based on census/acuity
- Develops operating and capital budgets for the departments annually and monitors fiscal measures of productivity, payroll, expense, and revenue monthly
- Nurse Manager, LTC conducts leader and patient/resident rounding monthly and promotes customer and employee satisfaction initiatives such as hourly rounding, thank you notes, and stoplight reports
- Provides direct patient care at least 8 hours per month and as needed, and performs Registered Nurse duties
Nurse Manager, LTC Requirements:
- Bachelor s in Nursing preferred
- RN License
- 2+ years of Nurse Management experience preferred
- Currently licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator in the State of Montana, or able to obtain licensure
- Long-term care experience preferred
