A community hospital located a few hours north of San Antonio, TX is seeking a full-time, permanent Occupational Therapist to join their team! Open to New graduates training provided

Starting Pay: $41.00 / hour + $5, 000 Retention Bonus
  • Experience factors into the pay scale
Outpatient Occupational Therapist Opportunity:
  • Full-time, direct hire opportunity
  • Day Shift Schedule: (5) 8-hour shifts or (4) 10-hour shifts
  • Setting: Outpatient clinic 
  • Great therapy leadership and administration team
  • Student Loan Assistance of $40, 000
Outpatient Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:
  • The Outpatient Occupational Therapist will review the Physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
  • Instructs, motivates, and assists patients to perform various physical activities and in the use of assistive and supportive devices such as crutches, canes, and prostheses
  • Outpatient Occupational Therapist records treatment, response, and progress in the patient's chart or enters information into the computer
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Outpatient Occupational Therapist Qualifications:
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Must have an active TX OT License, or the ability to obtain
  • Certified Lymphedema Therapist, Neurology, or Pelvic Health specialist preferred
  • No experience required - Training provided
