Pharmacist
Job Description
Rural hospital located several hundred miles northwest of Anchorage, AK seeking a full-time, Pharmacist to join their team.
Starting pay: $165, 318.00 - $192, 608.00/annually
- $50, 000 sign on bonus!
- Enjoy 208 hours of PTO per year in addition to 13 paid holidays and 5 additional days of subsistence leave.
- Receive $1, 500 paid monthly to assist with living expenses
Pharmacist Opportunity:
- Order verification;monitor drug therapies and patient labs, sterile product compounding and oversight, provide drug information to nurses and physicians, counsel patients on their discharge medications, renal dose adjustments based on protocol
- Provide drug information to nurses and physicians in the primary care center, proactive chart reviews, pharmacist refill authorization per protocol, anticoagulation services, adult and pediatric vaccinations
- Chart reviews, medication consultations, prescription preparations and medisets.
Pharmacist Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed Pharmacist
- 2 year(s) Preferred or 1 year of post graduate residency working as a Pharmacist or pharmacist intern, preferably in a hospital setting
- Lift or carry unaided less than 25 pounds

- Rural, remote town northwest of Anchorage.
- No state income tax and permanent fund dividend after a full calendar year of Alaska Residency
